How it works

Panels supply the pump through a compatible controller or drive. Flow varies with sunlight and hydraulic conditions. A reservoir can store water pumped during the day for use when needed.

Equipment and needs

Choose a surface or submerged pump for the water source, a compatible solar controller or drive, and panels sized for hydraulic demand. Include electrical and dry-run protection, pipes, connections and any reservoir. Provide desired flow, daily volume, irrigation schedule, depth, water level, pipe length and discharge height.

Sizing and follow-up

The study uses total dynamic head, required flow and pressure losses. We check an existing pump's compatibility if you wish to retain it, and consider seasonal water demand and sunlight together. Monitor solar production, flow, water level and drive alerts. Check filters, pipes, joints and protection; unusual pump operation requires specialist attention.

Can pumping work at night?

Direct solar pumping depends on sunlight. Water storage or another suitable power supply can be considered for night-time use.

Can I keep my current pump?

Yes, if its electrical and hydraulic specifications suit the controller and solar sizing.

What information is needed for a quote?

Provide depth, desired flow, daily water volume, discharge distance and current pump specifications.

Price and warranties

The price depends on equipment, access and connections. Exact references, quantities, accessories and services are confirmed after the site study. Panel, inverter and battery warranties follow their manufacturers; durations and conditions are stated in the proposal.
